Agora cando xa se senten m\u00e1is cerca os suaves pasos do crep\u00fasculo de agosto, escavando unha vez m\u00e1is no vello lodo da memoria, doume conta de que hai xa 50 anos que se publicou <i>Highway 61 Revisited<\/i>, disco m\u00edtico que ratificou a definitiva conversi\u00f3n de Bob Dylan \u00e1 electrificaci\u00f3n da s\u00faa m\u00fasica. Como moitos lembrar\u00e1n, foi no festival de folk de Newport de 1965 cando o cantautor de Minnesota deu os seus primeiros pasos nesa direcci\u00f3n, provocando un profundo cisma entre os incondicionais<!--more--> do folk protesta, que non comungaban cos novos aires roqueiros que estaba introducindo no seu territorio sonoro, e os que entenderon que a s\u00faa aposta era algo m\u00e1is verdadeiro que un simple capricho de nova estrela emerxente.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En <i>Bringing It All Back Home<\/i>, gravado en xaneiro de 1965 coa produci\u00f3n de Tom Wilson, quen ti\u00f1a traballado con Simon &amp; Garfunkel, e m\u00e1is tarde con Frank Zappa &amp; The Mothers Of Invention e The Velvet Underground, estaba o xerme: Dylan inclu\u00edu varios temas coa guitarra el\u00e9ctrica. Ag\u00e1s <i>Desolation Row<\/i>, onde involucra na mesma fantas\u00eda a Einstein, Bette Davis, O Fantasma da \u00d3pera, Robin Hood, Ezra Pound, Ca\u00edn e Abel, O Chepudo de Notre-Dame e T.S. Eliot coa soa axuda da guitarra ac\u00fastica e a inconfund\u00edbel harm\u00f3nica.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A primeira canci\u00f3n, a afamada <i>Like A Rolling Stone<\/i>, a \u00fanica do disco producida por Wilson, tenteou previamente o mercado en forma de singre. Daba igual que funcionase ou non. Dylan xa ti\u00f1a escollido o seu propio rumbo. Para el era indiferente que a escena folk estivese cabreada con esta mudanza para unha nova paraxe s\u00f3nica e \u00e1 subida de decibelios.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ao empu\u00f1ar a guitarra el\u00e9ctrica, Dylan transmutouse de trobador cristalino en arquitecto sinuoso das palabras. E f\u00edxoo collido da man con Bob Johnston aos controis e nos estudos de Columbia, en Nova York , cando este produtor de Nashville traballara con Jhonny Cash e colaborou m\u00e1is tarde con Leonard Cohen nunha li\u00f1a musical moi diferente.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/cafebarbantia.barbantia.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/the-times.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-4082\" alt=\"the times\" src=\"http:\/\/cafebarbantia.barbantia.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/the-times-300x298.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"298\" srcset=\"http:\/\/cafebarbantia.barbantia.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/the-times-300x298.jpg 300w, http:\/\/cafebarbantia.barbantia.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/the-times-150x150.jpg 150w, http:\/\/cafebarbantia.barbantia.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/the-times-1024x1019.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/cafebarbantia.barbantia.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/the-times-144x144.jpg 144w, http:\/\/cafebarbantia.barbantia.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/the-times-900x896.jpg 900w, http:\/\/cafebarbantia.barbantia.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/the-times.jpg 1500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Poucos imaxinaron que o t\u00edtulo do terceiro \u00e1lbum de Dylan <i>The Times They Are A Changin<\/i> (1964) resultar\u00eda tan prof\u00e9tico, a\u00ednda que non no sentido social. Os tempos ti\u00f1an cambiado e mesmo o nacente folk-rock abr\u00eda as s\u00faas fiestras ao esp\u00edrito da psicodelia. Pero o de Minnesota metamorfoseou o folk en blues. Apostou polo rock\u2019n\u2019roll \u2013a canci\u00f3n <i>Highway 61 Revisited<\/i> plasma a s\u00faa forma de entendelo e pola inclusi\u00f3n do \u00f3rgano, tocado por Al Cooper, como modelo mel\u00f3dico.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Da banda de Paul Butterfield trouxo a Mike Bloomfield, que foi o encargado de tecer a musculosa armaz\u00f3n de guitarras. Na s\u00faa apertura de miras, at\u00e9 inclu\u00edu o son manipulado da serea dun coche de polic\u00eda, o signo distintivo do tema que d\u00e1 t\u00edtulo ao disco. As historias narrativas \u2013a moza ben convertida en mendiga de <i>Like A Rolling Stone<\/i>&#8211; alternaron coas frases en aparencia desconectadas entre si de<i> Tumbstone Blues<\/i> ou nos xogos malabares na fronteira de <i>Just Like Tom Thumb\u2019s Blues<\/i>, a\u00ednda que nada mellor que as cinco historias independentes que empregou para retratar a Autopista 61. <i>Desolation Row<\/i> despide esta magn\u00edfica aventura, este xeneroso froito crepuscular de agosto.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Gonzalo Trasbach.\u00a0Estelas de luz.
