Perito mercantil, foi un verdadeiro animador cultural da vila rianxeira, colaborador de xornais como\u00a0<em>El Noroeste de Vilagarc\u00eda<\/em>, e de revistas como<em>Vida Gallega<\/em>\u00a0e\u00a0<em>Galicia Nueva<\/em>, pero a s\u00faa importancia v\u00e9nlle pola direcci\u00f3n do xornal\u00a0<em>El Barbero Municipal<\/em>, a petici\u00f3n de Castelao, onde non s\u00f3 publicou artigos, sen\u00f3n tam\u00e9n alg\u00fan relato como\u00a0<em>O que naceu pra ichavo&#8230;<\/em>\u00a0(1912), que Jos\u00e9 Antonio Dur\u00e1n considera pr\u00f3ximo ao autor de\u00a0<em>Retrincos<\/em>, e que reeditou en\u00a0<em>El primer Castelao. Biograf\u00eda y antolog\u00eda rotas<\/em>. <!--more-->En 1914 Arcos Moldes fundar\u00e1 o xornal\u00a0<em>Justicia<\/em>, semanario que serviu de voceiro de Acci\u00f3n Gallega. Falecido na vila de Rianxo en 1944, xa en 1950, na revista\u00a0<em>Rianxo<\/em>\u00a0de Bos Aires, apareceu o texto autobiogr\u00e1fico\u00a0<em>Hojas sueltas. Del libro de mi vida<\/em>. Ademais de J. A.
